Mercedes’ Berlin-based content agency asked me to direct this short documentary about a retired optometrist in LA who owned a rare 1962 Mercedes-Benz 300d Adenauer (45 ever made) and the young Benz stan who planned to buy it and try to rehab the beast. I put together a small crew, and even though the car broke down mid-shoot, we were able to capture a bit of its magic and the family history behind it.
